hello everyone
i hope your enjoying your winter
i have over 28 inches of snow outside my door
so since i am pretty much homebound
i am entering addresses into a lable program
so that i can send mass mail art projects, annoucments, etc without
giving myself a brain attack or buying one of those zipcode books

so if you definatly want to continue to
be part of my mail art project go ahead
and message me your address again to make sure i have it....
and if you do not want to be on my list please tell me that too.

im looking at a January mailing of a secret mailart project...

i hope those that still have skin books are finishing them up...
i dug a path to the mail box so that i can still recieve mail.

and Faern i recieved your beautiful 8inch canvas yesterday, i will scan that later today.

Also please if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
i do this mailart stuff to communicate with other artist
i have recieved quite a bit of negative feedback lately
This is not my job, i do this for fun and to promote the art that i enjoy.
so if there is anything i can do, or that you wish was different, or an idea
just say something ...

hope all is well
enjoy your celebrations.

    (As I messaged you...)

A pox on the naysayers! What you are doing is in the service of art and you are to be honoured for that.

      Hear hear!

My skin book was sent back to me (incorrect postage dammit!), but it will be winging it's way back to you tomorrow.

I've loved doing both projects and, as the coordinator of a craft swap, I understand how much work it takes to put this all together.

Thanks for your efforts and I'm looking forward to the next project.

    You rock Jasmine.
I put my 8x8 in the mail today.
The community of artists is small, and the ones who actually do ANYTHING are smaller yet. You provide a service to many of us who want to share our work. I feel blessed to have a group of creative people around me, and when I found this tribe it felt like home. I love sending art through the mail and have done many trades and collaborations by Post but it is only the last year or so I have found the vast community of mail art/ATC folks on the web, and I love it. Just in your last three projects I have seen more creativity than…. I don’t know, but it’s great. Making stuff is fun and feeds the soul. If people are on your case, tell them to DO something instead of coming down on you. Fuck’em. Tell them to start “ the whiny artist tribe” or whatever. Sorry for the testosterone. Like I said, you rock. Keep it up.

        Edible art.
On New Years Eve I tried to get a pizza shop in Michigan City, Indiana to deliver a square, 8 inch by 8 inch, pizza to you, Jasmine, with artistically arranged olives and such on it. We were foiled by their needing someone to sign for it when it was delivered (first time I ever heard of someone having to sign for a pizza) and I didn't have your phone number so they couldn't make sure you would be there.

        Oh, well.
